Robert D. Leonard is a former lieutenant for the United States Navy. In his previous capacity, Mr. Leonard made the most of his management, planning, security and people relations expertise, having joined the U. S. Navy in 1974 and retired from active duty in 1995. Since May 2011, Mr. Leonard has been retired from an illustrious 33-year career with the U.S. Navy. He served for 22 years on active duty and spent 11 years with the ROTC. His father served in the Army and his uncle served in the Air Force. He has always wanted to follow in their footsteps and have a career in the military. He enlisted at the age of 17, directly after his early graduation from high school. Mr. Leonard pinpoints a major highlight of his career as his having served under President Ronald Reagan at Camp David. He has received a plethora of awards and honors, including four Bronze Stars, five Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medals, two Navy Commendation Medals, five Battle Efficiency Wreaths, and three Good Conduct Medals.
