While serving in the military, Mr. Reynolds took master fitness and combat lifesavers courses and gained an interest in health care. He was an active-duty U.S. Army human resources technician, and in 2005, he was deployed to Kuwait during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was a sergeant when he left the Army after 29 years of service. He still serves in the National Guard and has done so for 20 years, but also focuses his efforts on providing top-quality health care services. Mr. Reynolds has been working in the health care field for 18 years and has been in his position with the hospital for the past five. In his role, Mr. Reynolds supervises medical-surgical renal, chemotherapy and stroke nursing, ensures that staff members remain accredited, precepting for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, managing clinical duties, nurse files and lab equipment, and serving as a program manager for nursing services staffing. He is considered a leader in the field, and has been rewarded for his exceptional work.
Mr. Reynolds also draws on his strong skill set and knowledge to serve as a chief warrant officer III. He works with a military academy in Alabama to train potential warrant officer candidates. Throughout his career, Mr. Reynolds has been highly successful in all of his professional endeavors, and believes this success is a direct result of the work ethic he learned from his father. In the coming years, Mr. Reynolds hopes to earn a Master of Science in Nursing, particularly in administration, and obtain a promotion.
